Analysis of the scene in four phases; the actors are required to focus on what is literally happening in the scene and what is needed from the other characters.
Uta Hagen:
Realism and truth above all else; “Replacement” (or “transfer”) encourages the actors to substitute their own experiences and emotional memories for the specific circumstances of a scene.
Ivana Chubbuck:

Understand what the goal that the character wants and needs to obtain is, and the need to reach that goal that guides the actions of the character.
Susan Batson:
Show the actors how to prepare and which keys to use to create the life of a character, fully human, of extraordinary expressive greatness and in the name of the watchword “truth”.
Dominique De Fazio:
Teaching and giving the actor the necessary tools to become a “creative actor” while maintaining “authenticity” as a reference so that the artist can create original characters and scenes, thus breaking away from the usual patterns and methods.’
WRITING:
In the writing courses of the Film School we always remind our students that behind every great film there is a great script, the knowledgeable work of a team of authors. Writing is the basis of every audiovisual work, as well as almost all other artistic disciplines. To immerse yourself in the study of writing and especially script writing, means to understand the language of images and learn how to transform stories from the imagination to writing, to see them become films, documentaries, TV series, theatre shows, books, poetry, songs, etc.
